MAMA'S DAY BRUNCH
My bestie and I wanted to celebrate the mama's from our mom's group by throwing a mama brunch to love and honour all that they do for their families. As moms ourselves, we know that it is no light task ;)
I really wanted to make something fun and beautiful, however, I needed it to be budget friendly as well as simple to put together.
I knew that I wanted to have a variety of desserts so we decided to order four different petite desserts from The Little White House in Fort Langley. The morning of, we put together a fruit skewer to help dress up the plate and to add a little nutrition to the morning!
The next step was deciding on what else to serve food wise. I wanted it to be delicious, but once again simple to put together! Im no chef and never know how Damian will be in the morning so I did not want to put too much stress on me or Alysha in regards to cooking. We decided on doing a meat and cheese board, and it was a hit!
Along with a variety of meats and cheeses there was honey, two preserves, gherkin pickles, jalapenos, crackers and baquettes.
Alysha also got all the ladies' their favourite starbucks so they would have a coffee. It was such a nice personal touch to have our favourite coffees as a treat! And of course, there was mimosas, you can't have brunch without mimosas.
